02Physics

Feel the grip

Every kart is simulated from its tyres up. The load on each wheel, weight transfer and grip shape how the kart behaves, and the weather changes the conditions — so your line changes with them.

  • Friction circle

    Four contact patches

    Each wheel has its own load and slip angle. Cornering and drive share one grip budget, so a slide is easier to start than to catch.

  • Your weight

    The driver is part of the mass

    The height and weight in your profile ride with the kart lap after lap. A heavier driver is slower for the real reason, and rivals are built around your size.

  • No differential

    Solid rear axle

    Both rear wheels turn together and scrub through a corner until caster lifts the inside one — exactly how a real kart turns.

  • 35–55 °C

    Tyre temperature

    Rubber warms up from sliding and cools with the air and water. Cold tyres make the first lap and the rain harder.

  • 13–24 mm

    Water on the asphalt

    18 surveyed hollows fill up in the rain. Depth against speed decides aquaplaning, and a puddle under one side pulls the kart in.

  • ≈7 Hz

    No suspension

    A kart rides on its tyre sidewalls alone. Ripples in the asphalt, kerb ribs and bumpy grass reach the chassis and the steering wheel.

A clear morning, a low evening sun or a downpour that floods the racing line and runs down your visor. The sun and sky light the circuit the way the real ones would on the day and hour you choose.

Race your friends

Up to six karts in one race: Windows, macOS, iPhone and iPad on the same circuit. Create a race, send your friends the room code and head to the grid.

  • Room code

    Six characters instead of IP addresses. No port forwarding: the connection sets itself up.

  • Every platform together

    PC, Mac, iPhone and iPad in one lobby and on one starting grid.

  • Race organizer

    The host drives or only runs the event, following it from the copter or through any driver’s eyes.

  • AI in the empty boxes

    Three of you showed up? Six karts still take the start. A player who joins takes an AI kart’s place until the countdown.

  • Fair results

    The host counts laps, contacts and the finishing order. A client cannot claim a lap or a win for itself.

  • Your circuit online

    A drawn circuit is sent to every driver and built the same way for all of them.

Your circuit Your rules

Draw a line and the generator builds the rest: kerbs, pit lane, garage, grandstand, hills, woods and a town on the horizon.

  • Circuit shape

    Draw freehand or place key points. Set the radius, width and kerbs at each one.

  • Photo underlay

    Lay a photo of a real circuit under the plan and trace it to scale.

  • Start line

    Place the start and pick the direction — the grid and the pit lane follow the rules.

  • Share it

    Export the circuit as a file or host an online race on it.

Wheel, gamepad or iPhone

One game and one physics model on every platform. Drive with whatever is at hand.

  • Force-feedback wheel

    Windows

    The rim stops where the chosen kart’s steering stops: 180° lock to lock on the rental and racing karts, 90° on the historic 1956 kart. We need drivers with wheels to fine-tune the feedback.

  • Gamepad and keyboard

    Windows · macOS · iPad

    Supported on every platform. Throttle and brake on the triggers, a cockpit view with head movement or a chase camera.

  • iPhone

    iOS

    Tilt the phone to steer, with brake and throttle as pedals on the screen. A connected gamepad takes over from the screen controls.

07Beta test

Become a beta driver

Invitations go out in waves as the builds for each platform are ready. Taking part is free.

  • Drive the AP Karting circuits before anyone else
  • The developer reads every note about physics and handling
  • We especially want steering-wheel owners, iPhone players and anyone ready to race online

The short version

When is the release?

We will announce the release date separately. Right now we are preparing the beta test — apply and you will be the first to know.

Which platforms?

Windows (Microsoft Store), macOS on Apple Silicon, iPhone and iPad. Online races bring all of them together.

Do I need a steering wheel?

No. Keyboard and gamepad work everywhere, and on iPhone you tilt to steer with pedals on the screen. Force-feedback wheels are supported in the Windows version.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Races against AI opponents and free practice work offline, and online races also run over a local network.

What are the system requirements?

We will publish the minimum requirements closer to release — the beta test will help pin them down. Right now we test on Windows with NVIDIA graphics and on Apple Silicon Macs.

Does the beta cost anything?

No, taking part is free.

English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Spanish, Italian and Georgian.
