About the game

AP Karting is a kart racing simulator for people who have felt a rental kart bite into a corner. Every kart is simulated from its tyres up: the rubber warms and loses grip, the solid rear axle scrubs through the turns, and the chassis answers every kerb and ripple in the asphalt. The driver’s own height and weight ride with the kart.

There are six classes, from a child’s rental kart to a 30 hp racing kart and a reconstruction of the first kart from 1956, and nine circuits: Batumi Karting Ring and Rødby Karting Ring, both licensed, six circuits rebuilt from real ones in Portugal, Wales, Italy and Brazil, and a forest circuit under the Canadian Rockies. Any day and hour of the year, the real forecast, and rain that floods the racing line and runs down the visor.

A karting school of 28 lessons teaches the craft the way a club does. Up to six karts race online across Windows, Mac, iPhone and iPad, and a track designer turns a drawn line into a whole circuit in any of six climate zones.
